I feel so good yesterday that I watched National Treasure from hubby's hard disk twice. Well, not exactly twice because there's a first and sequel to it. But still, I feel like I'm watching the same movie. Have I told you how intrigued I am when I see symbols? And Free Masons. They are so fascinating that I actually love Dan Brown. All hail Dan Brown. Despite being a Catholic (let's not measure how Catholic I am), I enjoyed his Angels and Demons so much because it's such an eye-opener to what Vatican City has and the very important people of Catholic. Very scandalous, that's what life should be!
Apparently my feeling good does not last. It was barricaded after my afternoon nap. I just wanted to kill the time by sleeping. Seriously, I feel restless being stuck in the room 24 hours. I was yesterday. Not TODAY. I want to have nice food and smell the fresh air (again, let's not measure how fresh is the air these days). I want to have my own leisure time by reading books. But I FINISHED "THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST" ALREADY LAH! Booms. Another plus to boringness.
I have something to say about books.
I always feel that to buy books is a great investment. It inspires me to have a mini library at home next time because I love being surrounded by books. Never mind the latest gadget, it'll always be out of date sooner or later. But BOOKS! How can one live without books? It's the best creation ever. Spending on books is the one and only thing I don't regret. I can always read them back (not that I do) and put them on display to show how geeky I am *roll eyes*. Nah seriously, books are not a waste of money. Pass them down to your future kids so that they can have the best collection of 21st century. I don't know whether they would feel proud or not but share the passion of reading and collecting books.
Of which contribute to Malaysians' glitch. Only a few close people that I know actually enjoy reading books. There are SO MANY people that I know hate reading. Yet, knowledge is in abundance. It's everywhere but people just don't grasp it just yet. Whenever I'm done with a book, I'm constantly amazed at the amount of things I learned from that book. Dan Brown, for example, on a heavy note of Free Masons/Knights Templar. Will I ever learn that this society actually exist in today's world? From reading, I understood the few missing pieces of it and ready to learn more. THAT should trigger your passion in reading lots more. To know more. That simple. It's a matter of time. Ignorance is the devil in everybody's soul. It's mine too.
Pick up a book, and READ.
Lazy and not interested are merely excuses.
On a side note,
Have you heard Bruno Mars' Marry You? =D
