I'm in study mode, thus explain again the long "take-a-break, take-a-kit-kat". So I should be studying. But, post explained, I was bored with rote-learning and I need a time off to write this post with a dead brain. Like dead, DEAD.
Yet, I have a story to tell.
About how I discover my talent as the next Superwoman.
Nah, kidding.
Seriously, I want to tell on polygamy. Random thoughts and ideas, I hope no one gets offended (would have expected anyone to agree, yes please).
Polygamy is never something I'm keen of. I know it's acceptable in Islam due to CERTAIN circumstances and situation. But what is really saddening is that, people - Muslims and non-Muslims in that sense, enjoy having more than one sweetheart. I don't see the contentment of wasting your credits on 3 girlfriends/boyfriends in that matter. Reload every single hour because eventually you run out of credit to text. Telling A, "I love you." Then you tell B, "I love you so much.". Again you tell C, "I love you really really much." What's with the superlative again? I'm not against the theory of polygamy because it's out of my boundary to speak against it (I don't like it, of course) but I'm certainly against people who are practising for the sake of sexual pleasure (two pussy are always better than one) and eventually, fuels the ego of men. That they feel superior that there are more than two persons to like them. How crude.
You see, having a Malay boyfriend, fears me out of my safety zone. I keep pestering him about polygamy, whether or not he likes having two wives next time. The answer I got? A sharp glare. Plus a long sigh. Then he would tell me a long, long story of what's actually contained in the al-Quran about polygamy. I was fascinated, taken aback too. But I need that answer. Long cut story, he didn't approve the idea of sharing wives. Hooray for me! (With long explanations, too) I've seen how my friends and people around me got hooked on with so many girls/boys at a time. I just couldn't understand what's the excitement, really. Maybe the double or triple, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MORE, XOXO" or just can't say no?
Why am I saying this is that there's going to be one party who will get hurt more than the other. How one girl's love get stamped on for another girl and the cycle just continues, no? I've always believed that love is not sharing, it's not for us to divide into half or quarters and walk away with it. Love is pure, thus, love is to be responsible of someone you love. Favouritism/bias always happen no matter how many times you clarify and proclaim to the world that you can be FAIR. If even court decisions can be bias-inclined, what say you to humans feeling - so temperate and bound to change (especially when you see hot chicks with big boobs)? Self-control is really THAT important in keeping a relationship alive.
I sincerely hope that those reading this may be those whom I have known, can realise that one's heart is not meant to bleed profusely but to beat for the one.
Open your hearts, decide who deserves that very place in your heart and let go before it's too late.
Before the heart bleeds again.
P.S I love you, boyfie. For making me the only girl in the world. For making me so special in your eyes. You've always been great =)
