I Do

I certainly have reached that age. Puberty, check. Interested with boys, check. In a relationship, check. Married, un-check.

This month along I have seen people committing themselves to the final relationship, Marriage. It's like a cycle, no? Sooner or later you will be committed to a partner of yours, with regard it's monogamous. I'm anti-polygamy, in case you have not learned that yet. I'm genuinely happy for these people who are brave enough to be married to their long-time boyfriend. Or maybe because a baby's coming. But we shall not judge eh? Everyone's entitled to their decision. As much as I am happy, I am in my disbelief state too. You can't just come to me and tell me "Hey, I'm about to get married next month!" I'll be hugging, shaking hands and congratulating of course but the big horror I get is indescribable.

Well, it's for a good cause I believe. At least you get to have the official "sex" (I know I'm not making this any better). According to Islam, marriage "halalkan" what couples usually enjoy *coughs*. My stand is, I don't like being tied down too early. I'm not a party girl, just to clarify in case you readers think I like to party hard, but no I need to see the horizons. I really need to see what the other side holds for me, rather than what I have for the other side. And PARENTS shouldn't be match-making you. Not that I'm against it but don't you want to fall in love and get married with the person you love? Seemed so unrealistic, so I'll make sure I'm going for that. To fall in love, to be in a serious relationship and gets married with the same exact person. Perfect plan, isn't it?

The overrated statement of "jodoh datang awal" needs good fixtures. Oh, the "takdir" thing too. Those were the words of console. It's turning into words of annoyance for me. Decision. You make the decision, so suck the entire consequences up, no? Even when things go overwhelming, NEVER ever blame your fate. Decision precedes the fate, always. Utmost respect for those who make it work no matter how young they were at that point of marriage. You just have to know what you want to achieve, don't you think?

I most certainly know what I want.
